Real Masonic Symbolism Is All Around Us

Saturday, April 5th, 2008

By Tom Sandkamp With the passing this week of our 38th president, and brother mason, Gerald R. Ford I thought it only fitting to give you some insight into Freemasonry. It is one of the oldest, noblest and most misunderstood of fraternities. Freemasonry as an organization has been in its current existence since the late 1600’s, but its roots are far older and deeper. In this short article I do not plan to tackle or dismiss any of the purposeful misrepresentations of masonry but only give you some simple truths along with fact. As time permits me I will attempt to unveil which is veiled, but only as much as I am able as a worthy brother mason I myself am an active 32nd degree mason. This to the uninitiated means that I was, “raised”, or became a 3rd degree mason in what is called the Blue lodge. I then gained admission to the Scottish rite and then went through the additional series of 29 degrees that are put on in the form of a play with actors, costumes props and music. Free masonry is alive with many well known symbols that you and I see everyday. The difference being, that the initiated know well of these symbols, history and their true meaning. Ever take a close look at a dollar bill? George Washington was a mason and on the reverse of that bill is the design of a pyramid with a single eye above. That symbol stands for the watchful eye of the creator or as masons refer to him as GATU (Great Architect of the Universe). The men who authorized and designed that bill were also masons; one was President Franklin Delanor Roosevelt. Do you think that was a coincidence? I guarantee that it was not. Until I write again, may we all meet and part by the square. I am a 38 year old Mason. I am also involved with the York Rite as well as Scottish rite bodies of masonry. I am a married father of four, ages 19,11,6 and 19 months. I also enjoy internet marketing and have been doing that to gain clients in my equities business. Cypher Stent Lawyer - Drug Coated Stent Warnings - Heart Stent Injury

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

By Todd Going Cypher Stents Allegedly Linked to Fatalities A Cleveland Clinic study released findings on November 29, 2006 that indicated that the drug-coated Johnson & Johnson Cypher Stent is four to five times more likely to cause serious cardiovascular problems than are non-coated stents. Stents are mesh wire tubes that doctors used to hold open arties after angioplasties. The Cypher Stent, approved by the Food and Drug Administration in 2003, emits a drug called Sirolimus that prevents reclosure of the artery after the angioplasty balloon clears out any blockage. Some doctors believe that the drug works by preventing the regrowth of the coating that grows in the blood vessel around the stent that can contribute to further clots. There are over 800,000 angioplasties performed in the United States each year to remove blockages in arteries. Between 15 and 30 % of all these procedures will become clogged again, requiring further angioplasties or other procedures. The FDA began to receive complaints about the Cypher Stent soon after it was released. It has been allegedly linked to hundreds of serious cases of blood clots, thrombosis, strokes, and heart attacks, and 60 people have died due to complications caused by the Cypher Stent. In fact, there were more than 290 people that suffered blood clot-related complications within the first 30 days after they received the devices. Furthermore, the FDA also received more than 50 reports of severe allergic reactions from the Sirolimus coating on the stent. Some people needed serious medical or surgical intervention due to these reactions, and some people even died due to complications. There are thousands of potential people affected by this defective medical device, but it is unknown how many people will suffer serious and potentially life-threatening complications. People with Cypher Stents should consult their doctors immediately and discover their options to protect their safety. How To Get The Best Ringtones For Your Cell Phone

Tuesday, April 1st, 2008

By [http://ezinearticles.com/?expert=Craig_Thornburrow]Craig Thornburrow If you are the type of person who has to have custom everything, then there is no doubt that you will want to download at least a couple of custom ringtones for your cell phone. However, those who are into customization usually do not want to go half way with their money, meaning that the items that they customize must start off being the best top of the line products in the first place. They purchase expensive cars and then modify them with cutting edge electronics and various external accessories such as fancy rims or after market exhaust systems. They may purchase a high end watch and then add various precious stones and even more expensive watch bands to it to practically double its value. And when it comes to home electronics, they will settle for nothing less than their own built in home theater system complete with hide-away screen and high definition projector. While all of these items may seem absurdly overpriced to the layperson, they are just par for the course when it comes to someone who has to have the best of everything. However, even the most critical connoisseur of high end electronics will quickly realize that when it comes to cell phones and ringtones, you do not have to spend a fortune to get your own highly customized product. The hunt for the perfect cell phone for ringtones begins at your local wireless providers store. They will have a massive selection of different phones for you to choose from, but even if you do not have the want or the need for the best phone on the market, under no circumstances should you be tempted to get the free phone if you want to enjoy the best ringtones out there. Instead, look towards phones in the fifty to one hundred dollar range. These phones will have a variety of great goodies such as cameras and external screens and all other kinds of cool gizmos, but what they will also have that you really need if you want to make the most out of your ringtones is a blazing fast download speed. You see, most new phones out there take advantage of extremely fast downloads thanks to new wireless technology. Not all phones can download the same speed, mind you, so be on the lookout for phones from Cingular for example that say things like 3G to denote that they are the fastest in their class. While the downloading speed of your phone is a major player in the race to get the best ringtones out there, you will also want to make sure that your phone has mp3 player capabilities built into it. Phones with mp3 players will be able to play mp3 ringtones which will give you the absolute best in ringtone quality for your buck. Craig Thornburrow is an acknowledged expert in his field.
